So… I just got home from my kid’s school event, and a couple of the other moms gave me these weird looks. I overheard someone whispering about how I was “dressed for the club.” Then the principal asked me to leave because I was “bothering other parents with my inappropriate look.”
I mean, yeah, I was wearing leggings and a fitted top, but it’s what I feel comfortable in. Now I’m second-guessing myself… Am I really that out of place? I don’t want to embarrass my kid, but is it wrong to still want to look good? I’m a mom, but I’m also still me…
