The trailer for Prey 2 begins with an eerie, quiet shot of the forest at dawn, where fog rolls through the dense trees, creating an atmosphere thick with tension. The camera pans to reveal Naru (Amber Midthunder), now a seasoned warrior, moving silently through the wilderness, her senses heightened and her eyes sharp. A voiceover of Naru begins, speaking in Comanche: “I thought I knew the darkness… but it’s returned, stronger than before.”

Cut to a quick flashback of Naru’s epic battle with the Predator from the first film, her defiant stance as she faces down the alien hunter. The scene fades back to the present, where Naru’s tribe is thriving but always on edge, aware of unseen dangers lurking beyond the safety of their village. “They call it a myth,” Naru continues, “but I know it’s real.”

The music builds as the camera cuts to a series of tense, suspenseful shots: strange tracks in the mud, deep claw marks on trees, and distant, otherworldly roars echoing through the forest. The Predator has returned to Earth — more cunning, equipped with new, advanced weaponry, and more determined than ever to hunt.

We see Naru training with her tribe, preparing for what’s coming. She exchanges meaningful glances with her younger brother, now a skilled hunter, and other members of the tribe who have learned from her experience. This time, they are more united, ready to face the threat as a community.

The trailer flashes to scenes of intense action: a battle at dusk, with arrows flying and war cries filling the air; Naru sprinting through the trees as the Predator’s laser sights trace her movements; a desperate fight in a raging river where Naru uses her environment to her advantage, evading and outsmarting her unseen pursuer.

Intercut with the action are moments of quiet tension: Naru, hidden in the underbrush, observing the Predator as it dismembers a captured prey; the tribe preparing traps, crafting new weapons, and setting up ambushes under Naru’s command. “It’s stronger,” she says, her voice steady but laced with fear, “but so are we.”

The stakes rise as the Predator begins picking off members of the tribe, its attacks more ferocious and calculated than before. The trailer shows a brief glimpse of new Predator technology: a bladed gauntlet, advanced cloaking, and a plasma weapon that vaporizes everything in its path. Naru, bloodied and determined, vows, “This time, we fight back.”

The climax builds to a confrontation deep in the forest — Naru, standing alone with her spear, facing the Predator head-on, her face a mask of resolve. The Predator roars, and she charges forward, ready for the ultimate battle.

The screen cuts to black, and the title card appears: Prey 2, with the release year, “2024,” and the Hulu logo, followed by the tagline: “The hunt continues.”
