The teaser trailer for Avengers 5: Doomsday begins in ominous silence, with a slow pan across a devastated New York City skyline. Skyscrapers are crumbling, smoke rises from shattered streets, and the iconic Avengers Tower lies in ruins. A faint voiceover emerges — it’s Tony Stark’s recorded message from the past: “If you’re seeing this, it means we’ve failed… or worse, something darker is coming.”
The scene cuts to black, and we hear a deep, menacing rumble. The camera shifts to a series of rapid, unsettling glimpses: Thor standing alone in the ruins of Asgard, his face grim; Doctor Strange frantically casting spells in his Sanctum Sanctorum as reality warps around him; Captain Marvel, bruised and battered, staring at an approaching threat from space; and Spider-Man, his suit torn, looking over a devastated Manhattan with wide, worried eyes.
A new villain emerges from the shadows — a dark, powerful figure, glowing with cosmic energy and surrounded by swirling fragments of reality itself. His voice is cold and commanding: “You thought you could stop the inevitable… but you have only delayed your doom.” This is Kang the Conqueror, now fully unleashed after the events of Loki and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. But alongside him, a new, even more dangerous force looms: a colossal entity known only as “Doomsday,” a fusion of cosmic power and ancient evil.
The music builds, a haunting blend of familiar Avengers themes mixed with darker undertones. The trailer flashes to scenes of the Avengers assembling once again — Captain America (Sam Wilson) gripping his shield tightly, Black Panther (Shuri) commanding her forces, and Scarlet Witch standing amid swirling chaos magic. Old allies return: Bruce Banner struggles to transform into the Hulk, while Hawkeye and Ant-Man prepare for another impossible fight.
The tension escalates with a montage of fast-paced action: Iron Man armor pieces flying into formation, Thor summoning a massive lightning storm, Doctor Strange opening portals to new realms, and Captain Marvel soaring through space, her fists blazing with energy. We see a mysterious new figure shrouded in darkness, hinting at a powerful new ally or enemy.
Suddenly, everything halts as the screen goes dark. A single, chilling moment follows: Kang, face-to-face with the Avengers, declares, “You are out of time.” The sound of a massive explosion echoes, and the camera cuts to an unrecognizable wasteland — the Earth itself, cracked and scarred.
The trailer reaches its climax with a rapid montage: The Avengers standing together against overwhelming odds, a massive spaceship descending upon Earth, an unknown force reshaping the landscape, and a close-up of Captain America shouting, “Avengers… Assemble!” The screen cuts to black as the iconic Avengers logo, now fractured and crumbling, appears.
The title card emerges: Avengers 5: Doomsday. The Marvel Studios logo follows, along with the release year, “Coming 2026.”
